Microneedling in Tulsa: Cost, Results and What to Expect

Short answer: microneedling at HE Med Spa in South Tulsa is $325 per session, including aftercare products. Most clients do a series of 3 to 6 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, and you should plan for 3 to 5 days of redness after each one.

What microneedling is

Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, uses tiny sterile needles to create controlled micro-channels in the top layer of skin while a targeted serum is applied. We use the Dermalogica Pro Pen with 9, 14 or 24 needle tips, chosen for your skin and goals.

What it's used for

Clients book it for fine lines and wrinkles, dark spots and uneven tone, scarring and rough texture.

Your appointment (about 60 minutes)

A double cleanse, numbing cream for comfort, a prepping solution, microneedling with a serum chosen for your skin, then Pro-Restore serum to finish. You go home with aftercare products and instructions.

Who should not book it

Microneedling isn't right if you have a blood clotting disorder or take anticoagulants, have an active skin infection or condition in the area (including active acne, cold sores or eczema), have a weakened immune system, or are pregnant or nursing. Not sure? Call (539) 777-3671 before booking.

Who performs it

Stephanie Bourget, Vanessa Luongo (RN) and Vee Bowers, under the oversight of our medical director. A Good Faith Exam clearance is required before your first session.

Results

Some clients see a difference after the first session; a series of 3 to 6 gives the best outcome. Results vary and are not guaranteed. Wear SPF every day while your skin recovers.
