What Is Microneedling?
Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, uses tiny, sterile needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin while a targeted serum is applied. At HE Med Spa in South Tulsa we use the Dermalogica Pro Pen with 9, 14 or 24 needle tips, chosen for your skin and goals. Microneedling is performed under physician oversight, and a Good Faith Exam (GFE) clearance is required before your first session. The clearance is valid for one year.

Downtime and Results
Plan for 3 to 5 days of downtime. Redness and sensitivity are normal while your skin recovers. Follow your aftercare instructions closely and wear SPF every day. Some clients see results after their first session, and we recommend a series of 3 to 6 treatments for the best outcome. Results vary and are not guaranteed.
