Red Light Therapy in Tulsa — Why HE Med Spa Chose This Bed: “It was made right here in the United States, and the way everything goes through inspections and the way the bed is made and how close you are able to get to the diodes, it was a no-brainer. And it's a full body.”

Your First Red Light Therapy Session: “We will go over their health history, make sure that there's no contraindications, and then walk them through on how to do their first session.”

What Red Light Therapy Feels Like: “The sessions will have a warmthness to them due to the red light and the near infrared, and afterwards they will feel refreshed and rejuvenated.”

Red Light Therapy Bed vs. Panel: “The full body is just that. You get the whole complete body doing the treatment, where panels are only gonna hit wherever you lay them at.”

Why this machine, in Stephanie's own words

“The closer the diodes are to the skin, the better effects that you will have in the treatment.”

Stephanie chose Body Balance because it's made in the USA, it's NRTL-certified (SGS certificate SGSNA/25/SUW/00026U) and FDA-registered (#3010627475), and it treats the whole body in one session instead of the smaller area a panel reaches. Every session runs in a private room with eyewear provided.

“First it was made right here in the United States, and the way everything goes through inspections, and the way the bed is made and how close you are able to get to the diodes — it was a no-brainer, and it's a full body.”

What guests come in for

Guests use Body Balance to support skin tone and texture, recovery after workouts, everyday aches, energy and sleep routines, and to complement their facials and treatments at HE Med Spa. It's designed to support your body's natural recovery and comfort — a widely studied wellness modality, and a favorite add-on to facials and treatments here. Results vary from person to person; ask Stephanie what the research does and doesn't show.

Your first session

“We will go over their health history, make sure that there's no contraindications, and then walk them through on how to do their first session.” Any licensed skin therapist here can do your consultation. Sessions run 10, 15 or 20 minutes in a private treatment room on the full-body OvationULT bed. The sessions have a warmth to them from the red and near-infrared light, and afterwards you'll feel refreshed and rejuvenated.

Before you come in

Arrive with clean skin — no lotions, no sunscreens, and no makeup. Red and near-infrared light doesn't pass through clothing, so wear as little or as much as you're comfortable with — a sports bra/bikini or briefs works well. Eyewear is provided. The bed is fully sanitized before and after every use.

After your session

“We definitely recommend some type of exercise within the next four hours, or you can immediately do the vibration plate, and you can also add on an oxygen session.” Drink plenty of water — ideally half your body weight in ounces. Allow 48 hours between sessions.
